Where Is Home?

Home can be a place you love, and has a familiar smell. A place that makes you feel like a warm blanket thrown over you. Home is the place that has food you love along with familiar walls. For animals, home could be the mountains or plains that make them feel safe. For me, home is the smell of my mothers cooking that fills the air when I get home from dance class with shins that hurt and sweaty hands and feet. At home, my sister and I are playing games while teasing each other. My dad and I are sharing ice cream and making jokes. It has never been about how my home looked, It was the people inside that made me feel special, and I'm happy for every moment I spend with my family in my home.
