What Home Means to Me

What is home? Home to me is a safe place where you can’t get hurt, there are no insults, it's not walls and a roof over your head, it's your family who make you feel truly at home. First, one important part of home is the comfort of being with family .Whether it's under a blanket watching a movie or when I watch movies with my family it makes me feel at home. with your family or playing your favourite board game and the feeling of touching those lucky dice or that one smell when you come back home and you just feel calm and peaceful. Home is also warm .It’s sitting with your family and drinking that hot chocolate whether it’s the taste you love or the smell of your mom or dad's or even grandparents cooking when that taste of your favourite meal they just made for you. Even the feeling of your favourite blanket. That you take everywhere. This is why home makes me feel warm. Finally home is safe. It’s not being worried about anything you said or did. It’s where no one will hurt you physically or emotionally. For example no one will make you cry by what they said, they'll put a smile on your face. It’s because some people don’t have this In conclusion, home means to me, warmth, comfort and safety. Family is my true home.
