Home is My Home

My home is my safe place because I have very nice neighbours and a safe neighbourhood. First, one of my neighbours finds my dog when she runs away and says good morning when we walk by and buys stuff from us for fundraisers. Another one of my neighbours lets us use his lawn for sled hills because my dad makes them on our lawn and his lawn. He also shovels our lawn when we’re gone. My mom makes muffins and stuff like that for snacks at school. People built your house for you so you could live happily with a structure to protect you. Your home doesn’t have to be a house. Your home is your family and your friends, who make you happy, but it doesn’t have to be a house. Sometimes I think that my home is just the house I live in, but it’s not, it’s everything that’s around it, like your neighbours, your family and your friends. My point is that your house doesn’t have to be your house, but it's your family and everyone around it.
