Home, a place, people or a feeling ?

When I think of home as a place I think of my house. There are lots of books and pictures of memories. Reading by the fire, sunshine pouring through the window and music. I don't know what my home smells like but even if I was blindfolded I would know it's my home. When I think of home as people, I think of my family, my neighbours and friends. My family is always there for me even when I have a bad day, being able to borrow an egg from a neighbour. Playing with my best friends in my backyard and seeing my neighbours when I walk to the corner store. When I think of home as a feeling, I think warm and cozy in the winter and cool and breezy in the summer. Feeling so comfortable I put my feet on the coffee table. At home, I don't have to worry about fitting in, at home I am happy and calm. Home can be a place, people or a feeling. The more of these I have the more it feels like home. When I am alone in my house it still feels like home, when I am camping my campsite starts to feel like home, but to really feel like home I need my family.
