What Home Means To You
For me home feels like I'm protected, and a guide moving. Hello everyone, I'm Migo. I was born in the Philippines. I have lived there for 11years. In there my home was fun and my family loved me. I feel home is a cozy house where I sleep, I eat, and take a bath.
Home isn’t just a place, it’s the people, family, friends, and loved ones who make you seen and heard. It’s the memories you’ve created together of holidays, birthdays, and quiet nights in. Those shared moments became the fabric of my life, weaving together to create a sense of belonging.
Growing up, I thought home was just a place I’d leave one day. But now I realize, home is something you carry with you.
Home is full of memories. But everything suddenly changed. Because we moved to Canada , and I asked mom. Mom, why do we need to move here, I ask. And then she responded. We need to move here in Canada because, here in Canada you have a brighter future, don't be sad this is your home too.
Home has a memory. A memory with pure love. In my home I see my parents, siblings, aunty, and uncle that I love and who loves me back. I feel rich, rich of love because they care about me, they love me and they are always helping me when I have a problem. They even comfort me when I'm sad. I’m so happy because God gave me good parents that will give us a good life and a lovely comfortable house.
