The Meaning of Home

Home is a deep and soulful place with heartfelt, calm memories. Home is like a giant warm cozy hug wrapping around you with warmth and comfort. Home can be a place of hope when you're down. Home could be my place of happiness like the beautiful garden glistening in the window of my room. Home is the place where you have a roof above your head and you rest your head when you're tired. Home is a place where you can be creative and shine like you're supposed to. Home is a place where you can be the best you can be and feel special and be appreciative of what you have. Home is where you can go and be whatever your dreams can think of. Home is a place where I live with my brother, my dad and my mom and my two pet fish. My dad is from Nigeria and my mom is from Newfoundland. Home is when you can spend time with your friends and hang out. Home is a place where you can feel like you belong when you don’t. Home is where I hear my creaky stairs, the birds chirping and the plants swaying in my backyard. Home is where I smell my mom’s cookies and my dad’s okra. Home is a lucky place to be because some people don’t have one and I think that everyone should have one too, so if I win I know that I will be helping people have one too.
