What Home Means to Me

A house becomes a home when it’s filled with love, laughter, and pets. Every time I’m home I feel safe, protected and I can just lay down in my bed after school and know I am home. I know I am home when I’m greeted by two little furry creatures named Ninja and Logan. They are always excited to see me; their tails are wagging uncontrollably every day. When I get home from school I hear then whining on top of the stairs. They are always there when I’m sad, happy or down on myself. To me these moments matter because being greeted by family who love me is the best feeling. This is why my home is different than a house.
