The Meaning of Home

Homes should always be where love is unconditionally there. And a place where you can always come to. To me home is where I belong, where I'm treasured and loved, and where mistakes don’t matter. My home is warm and filled with mouth watering smells like cinnamon buns and cookies. I love to come home and hear the laughter and see all the smiles. Homes all over the world should be like that too. The feel of my fluffy and soft carpet in my room is calming when I'm sad. Home is a place you treasure and trust, it's not just a place to shelter you or some roof over your head, it’s thousands of memories and beautiful thoughts, dreams and wishes. A home could be a large mansion or a small farm. It could also be a tiny condo. A home is a home not a house because a house is a building to keep you safe and a home is an important and meaningful place where memories are born. Some people have to live in a hut with sixteen people or more! I like to think that their whole family lives together but the most important thing is that they are not alone and that they have friends and family to be there for them. For every one home is different. For me home is with my family and what makes my home so special is my sister, brother, mother, and father. My sister sometimes smiles up at me and it normally makes me smile. I sometimes think that every one in books have perfect families and homes but this year I realized that what makes the families and houses so special is the people who make the memories and have all the adventures. And I realized that my home is definitely the best place for me.
