My Special Home
To me, home is a place where I can rest. It’s a place where I can be grateful for the things I have. Homes are made to protect people, like a superhero. My home is where I feel safe and secure. A home is not just a building, it's a protector. A home protects you from cold winters, rain, hail, and the strong sun. In my home I can do special things with my family, like play games and cuddle. I can do homework from school in my home. My home is just right for my family. It is a place where I feel happy, sad, or angry. Most importantly, I can be myself. My home is not dangerous like some homes because my home is full of joy, happiness, and love. I never thought about what the meaning of home was before. Thank-you Habitat for Humanity for making me think about what the meaning of home is to me, and thank-you for making homes for people who do not have a home.
