Home Is My Safe Place

Home is not just four walls and a roof. It is way more than that. It is something you grew up in. It has memories. Home is where you were born. Some people have two just like me, some have one and some have one. I am lucky to have two kitchens, two living rooms and two bedrooms. The bedroom at my dad’s house is not just mine. My dad and I share a room, but I am grateful to have a place to sleep on the weekends. I have divorced parents and that is why I have two places to call home. Home protects me from storms and the weather like the heat and the cold and the dangers outside.
