My home

Home is a safe place. A place where I always feel welcome and acknowledged. My room is my comfortable and cozy shelter. I like laying down on my bed as I look out of the window. My windows are a door to the fresh air and a nice place to see what’s happening. At the end of a long day, I walk up the stairs. It doesn’t just lead to a room; it leads to my place where I can be alone. A place where I can lay down into my comforting bed. I love my room. in the late evening, in the living room I sit on the couch while the fireplace is warming the house. I love my soft couch by the fire. In the kitchen, my mom cooks food, while a familiar scent follows behind. I help her cook sometimes, as we start conversations. I eat in the dining room, with my family. my dog usually sits under the table (probably hoping to get some chicken). I like sitting on my deck on sizzling summer days, in the sun. home is a place I can always trust, I can eat, sleep, and hang out at my home. I love my home, and I would not have a cozy and comforting place to be if I did not have a home. So, I am grateful for my home, and my home is incredibly special to me.
