No Place Like Home

Most people think of a house when someone says ‘home.’ I don’t think of a place, I think of friends and family. Friends who listen when I talk, I can connect with them. Loving and patient parents who know exactly what I need to feel better, even before I know. Siblings who teach me tolerance. Loved ones who make me feel safe to share my worries. Those who are confident and help me be more confident in myself. Creative friends inspire me. People that make me laugh. People who are always there to help give me hope. There is truly no place like home.
