Meaning of Home

Have you ever walked into someone's house and it just feels different? Ya i have to because it's probably not your home and there's different people and traditions. Home means a safe place and good people to me because all the people in my house love me and always make me feel good. My home is where my people are, it's where our routines are and where I feel safe. Home is my people. Where I have my brother, my mom and dad we all have fun together and we make memories. We watch movies and eat good food. It is really nice to just chill and have some family time.And also the big milestones like when I first learned how to walk, ride a bike and talk. That's what makes my family different and special. Home is our routine. On my Friday nights I'm allowed pop and take out and it's the best time ever. I'll invite friends over, stay up late and have sleepovers. But when I go to someone else's house on a Friday night we do different stuff, have different rules and eat different things. This routine is what makes my home special. Home is where I feel safe. When I go to another house I don't feel as safe as I do at home. I don't know the parents as well as I do my own. I'm not in my own bed sheets, not in the same room I have grown up in my whole life. Maybe they don't have a fan and I'm hot. I I love my home, not the walls and roof and floor. It's the family, friends, food and fun we all have. And memories we have all had together.This is what makes a house and a home different.
