The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home, home is lots of things. These are some things that home means to me. Home feels safe, cozy and where I feel loved. Home makes me feel really happy and funny. With family nothing can go wrong. Like when the power goes out, we all have a family sleepover downstairs because we have a fire pit downstairs. Home is safe when I am in it. I know nothing can go wrong. When I am sad everyone tries to make me feel happy. I have good memories at home, like On Christmas Eve every kid plays hide and seek in the dark and the parents talk upstairs and my brother and my sister and me sleep in my brothers room and my parents set up an obstacle course so in the morning we have to do it to get up the stairs because it is on the staircase, and when we play queen of the floaty. I am always the queen, and my brother and sister try to get me off the floaty and my dad tries to stop them. When I play tag with my dog and manhunt or when there are friends visiting. When me and my cousin we play with my dog one of us goes on him and the other one would have a treat, and my dog would chase the treat. On Valentine’s Day we make cards for each other and after we go in the hot tub and we decorate my room how I want to. Home is a place where I can be myself and that can never change. When I walk in the door when I get back from school my family is there, and I know nothing can go wrong. Home is much more than what I said, home is different for everyone. Home is a place that protects you and where nothing can go wrong. I hope that everyone has a home that makes them happy like me. Even if I don't win at least, I might help someone get a home so they can be happy like me.
