Home Isn’t Just a Place

It's where I make memories like when my grandma made the most buttery corn that dances, as the smell of my dad's juicy steak is made. Then my mouth explodes because of my mom's rice with soy sauce. Then straight to the couch where the flavours are now partying in my belly As I'm awakened by the sound of the board game throw throw burrito. I win the first round now it's the championship, me verses mum. I pick up the fake burrito then mum throws the burrito. I dodge it then throw it right at mum. I'm the champion. A home isn't just board games and food it’s where I share talents with my family members like hockey. It’s where my dad shares the talents of hockey. Now I play for River East Royals, and he trains me to the limit so I could make the A2 hockey team on the team. That effort paid off just how all the effort it takes to make a house a home.
