What Home Means to Me

Have you ever wanted to come to a home where everyone loves you and cheers you on? To me home means being loved because my parents make me feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I feel this way because I have long days at school, I come home and the world around me just gets better and calmer like I'm a baby being rocked. First my family has home cooked meals every night, warm and tasty. We talk at the table, and laugh with our loved ones. It's just those little moments I love, they make me feel so thankful, for having a family that loves me I feel the best. My family is not perfect but is amazing. Secondly, my home loves my crazy self. My fun personality is my family's favourite thing about me. They laugh at my funny jokes, we laugh while I’m dancing in the kitchen making my breakfast, singing along to the radio. My sisters and I make funny faces at each other and laugh so hard we can breathe. It’s just those moments that make your home so much better. Everyone deserves a home like mine. Finally, the home that I live in is not just my home, for example my cottage is my home also. I have so many memories there like going fishing with my dog, knee boarding, swimming and stand up paddle boarding . The bon fires we have roasting marshmallows and having s’mores. Getting super messy and washing off in the lake after eating the marshmallows. Also going to the marina to get frozen yogurt every day. These are all the reasons why my home is not just my home. If you have a house and a family that loves and cares about you, be grateful not everyone has what you have. Everyone deserves a home that loves and cares for them, a home cooked meal and a place that makes you happy. Your family does not have to be perfect to be awesome so just remember that is your mad dont take it out on your family remember what they have done for you.
