The Meaning of Home

Meaning of Home What home means to me. Home is when you walk in after a long day at school and get a delicious snack right away. I still remember those long walks on the beach and late night kareoke. I can still remember when i used to steal my parents phones to take photoshoots in my room. When i hear that song it takes me back in time to my family playing just dance in my living room on New Years Eve.Singing those old country songs all night long. From first steps to graduation . I still remember all the times i used to beg my parents for candy. I still remember the first time my dad played ” Meanwhile Back At Mama’s. “ while he was fixing up his car up in the garage and i could relate to the lyrics. “I miss them small town roots walking around in muddy boots the sound of rain on a old tin roof “. Because i live in the backroads and i fall asleep to rain on my tin roof all the time “tick tick tick” . I remember every year running to my parents room to measure our heights on a old piece of wood that is 50 years old and comparing who is the tallest. Its like a house being passed down for generations.
