My special place

My special place Home to me is where I am me. .I act like a first grader, I shake my sillies out .Home is where I store my food , where my bed is , where my family is .Home isn’t just a building, it’s my special place. At home , we do movie nights, we play board games and do karaoke. I practice piano,I read and it’s where my dad does the dishwasher at 6:40. Home doesn’t have to be a mansion. Home doesn’t need to be a place. I have moved into many homes before, but once I got used to it I understood that home is in your heart. Each room is filled with memories Our first steps , our first words, our special times. For example, the kitchen. Making bread, dancing to the music, having tons of fun . Nothing beats that. A home is where you feel safe and loved. When it’s summer, me and my brother go on the driveway. I put on my roller skates while my brother uses his scooter.Home is like part of my family. When it’s raining, it takes us under its roof. It helps us store our food. Sometimes it’s sick so we have to take care of it. I am lucky to have a home . So that’s why I am grateful that Habitat for humanity is helping people without a home get one . Thank you.
