The meaning of home/Le sens d’un Chez soi

When I open the door of my wonderful, lovely home I see my dog waiting to greet me. Je sens les biscuits de ma maman. Elle me donne un bisou avec des biscuits et du chocolat chaud. I sit on the kitchen counter and I ask my mom to turn on the fire on snowy and windy days. Quand je veux dormir, je mets des couvertures et je suis comfortable. J’entends ma maman faire des crêpes le matin. In my home I cherish memories every single day. Je goûte les crêpes avec du chocolat chaud que ma maman fait avec amour. When I am done with everything, I pack my bag. Once I come back from school I smell my mom’s delicious brownies that are ready to be eaten. In my home… I feel safe I feel happy And I feel loved.
