The meaning of home is for people to gather, for our hearts to be open for more than an hour. Home is where our love is to be shared, Home is where everyone takes some sort of dare. Where fights stop and peace steps in, Where we remember where we have been. Where we talk about our day, and make our fears all go away. Home is a feeling like happiness or sadness, When you hear quietness or loudness . No matter what looks like no matter how it smells, We know how it feels. It feels calm if you're with your siblings or mom Or even dad, home is a place where no one is mad If I was clouded up with fog, I would go visit my dog Home is cozy like watching a movie, Where at the end we all get a little woozy When I'm feeling sad, I will talk to my mom or my dad If I'm feeling snuffy, I will lay in my bed with my stuffies. I could go on for hours, because all our homes have powers. powers to make us share and powers to make us care when we feast on Christmas Day, no matter if it's made from bricks or clay. We all love our houses in different ways, I love to eat lays on my couch, home is a place where nobody shouts. This is what home means to me.
