What is Home To Me?

Home is my family and friend's memories. Not just a place I live. It’s a place where I feel safe and loved and cared about. In my backyard I can jump on my trampoline without a care in the world. I love having fires in my backyard making memories every second. Picture this: Me jumping the day away with my favorite song on. In my kitchen and dining room my mom makes the best meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also where everyone plays card games and board games. Where we laugh and talk during all the holidays from New Years to Christmas. My living room is where we play and watch movies and on every Christmas we watch the Santa Tracker, and the best movies of all time. Where I chill and do homework, eat snacks after school. In my room where I watch some of my favorite movies with my friends or myself. Where I see change in myself when I change my wall color or the decorations. I can go there if I need to restore energy and reset if I’m mad or sad. Last, but not least, my dads favorite place is my garage where he builds all night long, playing music. In the garage is also where my bunnies eat, play, and sleep. That's why it’s not about the home, it's about the people who are in it. The home doesn't make the people the people make the home. That's what a home is to me!
