What Home Means To Me

I can feel whatever I want when I’m at home. There isn’t anything that scares me, there isn’t anything that harms me. Home is a place where I feel out of harm’s way 24/7. I don’t have to worry or stress about anything when I’m at home. Actually, I do have to stress about one thing, HOMEWORK! But it will always be finished eventually. And not just with homework, at home anything that does scare me or make me stressed, I can always tell myself that it’ll go away at one point. Like the sun always comes out after a storm. Sometimes it’s a bit hard to tell myself that when I’m not at home. When I’m not at home sometimes I feel like I’m not good enough or I don’t fit in, but when I’m at home, I feel like I’m the greatest me out of all the versions of me. Home is a place where I can be myself. Home is where I feel positive all the time, I see all the good stuff about everything. Even when I’m sick I can still feel positive in my mind. It’s like home is all the things that make me feel like me. Sometimes I have lots of fun when I’m not at home, but overall, I think the most fun I’ve ever had has been at home. Home is where I belong. Home isn’t just the place where you sleep. Home can be anywhere and anything you want it to be. Home doesn’t have to be one place, it can be 1,2,3,4,5, or more places as long as it feels like home to you. As long as you can make yourself feel at home, you have a home.
