What a Home Means to Me

What a Home Means to Me A home means that I have shelter in wicked storms. In my home I smell amazing smells and look at amazing foods. After a long hockey practice, I get to go home and eat and talk to my family about what I did at practice. A few things I hear in my house are my mom saying, “Dinner's ready! My dad saying, “Are you ready for hockey?!!” And both my parents saying,“Good game!” A few things I smell are my mom baking banana bread and my dad making guacamole. Finally, I want to say how lucky I am to have a home. By Lachlan O’Reilley Colchester North P.S. Grade 5
