Home Is Everything

Home is Everything Home is everything to me. At home I can just be myself; quiet, calm and content. I can also feel the emotions of everyone and everything around me. I can feel my mom’s warmth I can feel my dad’s kindness I can feel my brother’s energy I can feel my dog’s strength I can feel my horse’s impulsivity Feeling different emotions must happen and knowing that I can come home and feel what I want to feel makes me happier, that’s what makes family happier too, because if I’m not happy, I’m sassy and that doesn’t go good with my family. When I come home from a busy day, I always think to myself about how I can relax and have something to eat or go lie in my bed. I am lucky, but now writing this I think some people can’t do that and that’s not how it should be. Home is a safe place, and everyone should have one. That is why I am doing this contest; not for the prize it is for the people that don’t have a home but should. Everyone would think having food, water, a bedroom, furniture and warmth is the best part of home all those things are great, but to me the best part of my home is family even if we lived in a small apartment, it really wouldn’t matter to me, I would still have a home and family. That is the only thing I need in my family. As I said in the beginning, ‘‘Home is everything to me.’’ I am not lying when I said home is everything it really is.
