Home is my treasure box

When I'm in my house I feel like I'm in a treasure box. Each object like photos holds its own memory. Each different utensil in my kitchen, every painting and photo on the walls, and each piece of furniture newer than others and some older than others, all hold a secret memory in our treasure box. My home makes me feel warm, like when my family and I watch a movie together or play a card game or board game. When I'm in my house I feel safe and protected when I'm feeling blue or frightened. My home helps me forget about all the mean and rude bullies that want to make me feel sad and hurt me. My home is a building, yes but my home is also more than that. It is also who I laugh with and who I cry with. Home is where my happy place is, where I feel like I can be myself, and I’m accepted for who I am. I feel like there is nobody around me to judge me while I'm in my house with my family and sometimes friends. When I'm in my house it makes me feel that people want me to be around them and can be myself, and when people make me feel that way it makes me feel so special and that others really care about me.
