Home Means A Lot To Me

A good house and home is a place where you do not have to worry about fitting in. Home is not a real thing, but it’s a feeling. My home is a place where I always feel welcome and loved. It is the best place to be me. School is like a second home to me. Every time we move, we take our home with us, deep in our hearts. Moving is always hard, but knowing that our home is always with us, makes it easier. You might not know where your home is, but you should know that it is always there for you. The best way to keep your home safe, is to try not to fight, because a family is what creates your feeling of home. Tight friendships could help with creating a second family. I love that the Habitat For Humanity is raising money using fun contests to build new homes for people who don’t have them. This allows them to create new feelings of home. This contest got me thinking about how lucky I am to have a house and home. I have a bed to sleep in and food to eat. Some people have none, which is why I have joined this contest. I feel so happy that I can help out even if I don’t win. Home is the best possible thing someone could have.
