Home vs. House

Home is where you can be free and thrive. A house is where you have to hide. When you're at home, you can be comfortable with your surroundings and happy. When you're at a house, you are uncomfortable and lonely. To me, home is family, the smell of cooked chicken, the feeling of my cat's fur and the sound of my mom’s laugh. To me, home is also eating, playing and talking with my family at night. A house does not have those things. A house has no pets, no family and no burnt chicken. I would always choose home over a house.
