Homes Are Not Just Living Spaces

The definition of home to me is a place where you feel like you can be yourself and feel that you matter. Home is where all good and bad things happen. It is where mistakes are made and where success happens. Home does not have to be where you live, it is where you feel safe and comfortable and where you could share that with others. My house is specific and unique, It is very special to me especially. Home can come in many different forms because it doesn’t have to be a property. It is what they chose as their home because people love all different things about their home. Home is traveling as a family throughout the world where you can try new things. What matters is that you try it as a family and share the experiences. Once we went to Tokyo and my sister did not like sushi but it was unexpected because she liked it a lot. Also it means to me loving my family so much that I yell at them not hurtful just for fun. When we play basketball with my whole family I get to always pick the teams and I yell at them if they make a mistake. I make fun of my siblings when they are tired from hiking or sports. Another meaning of home is when we celebrate big holidays as a family and come to gather for a family reunion. We have a big dinner all together. We all stay in the same house and play. Also on Christmas we do a secret Santa which I find brings the family together because it is secret and you have to figure out who got you your presents and what you are gonna get.
