What is Home

Home is like giving me a warm hug every day. I feel happy and confident with my parents next to me. When my parents come home, I have them take a break and relax. When I go into my room, I feel the love my parents give me every day by thinking of them. Every frame on my wall holds the best memories that will always be in my heart. In my bedroom, we have movie nights all together as a family. In my kitchen, we laugh together and share things that feel important to us. I help my mom by making her delicious banana bread. When my parents make me food it is the best food I have ever eaten. When I am in my living room, my sister, my parents, and I play board games and video games all day long. In my living room, I watch my pond with my fish. In my backyard, I go outside and feed my fish. When I am outside, I sit down with my mom on our pond bridge and hear the relaxing sounds of birds, squirrels, and running water. My cats will always comfort me with love when I come home. I make them fun cardboard boxes to sleep in. In my basement, we have a slide that goes down our stairs, which are the best memories I have had. We play soccer, scooter basketball, tag, and so many more. Home is not just a building; it is where loving memories are made, and what brings us together.
