A House and a Home

A home is not just a building. It’s a treasure chest full of laughs and memories. When I get home from school, I like play basketball in the driveway until my mom calls me in for dinner. The kitchen is where I can smell the dinner my mom has been making almost ready to be served at the dinner table where we talk and laugh together. The garage is where my dad and I like to watch sports and play video games together. I remember when I was little me and my dad would build pillow forts then have epic Nerf gun battles. Finally, my bedroom is where I like to listen to music read and of course sleep. That is what home means to me, not every home is the same, but the end of day no matter how big or how small a home is always a home.
