The Meaning Of Home To Me
Home is a safe space, a space where you can be yourself and be accepted for it. A space where you can express yourself without judgment. A space where you can be safe. Home is different for everyone, but for me it is a space where I am surrounded by people I love, tasty food and caring faces. I feel comfortable at home. My room is my safe space and my family respects that. Home is a space where everyone should be safe. No one should feel threatened or uneasy. Home is a space where there is peace and joy. A place where everyone is loved and treated as equal. A space where everyone should feel at ease. No one should have to deal with screaming matches in their own house, especially parents of young children. Home is a place where you shouldn't feel pressure to do everyday activities. Home is a place where children should feel understood, not scared. Home is a space where anyone is welcome. Home is a place where you can rest, a space where anyone can be themselves without fear of judgment. Home should not be left in tense silence, it should be full of laughter and joy. Not anger and disdain. Home should never be a space where children are left unattended, they should be watched and cared for. Not scared and alone. Absolutely no one should feel uncomfortable in their home. Everyone should have someone taking care of them and someone to watch over. Home is different for everyone, but one thing all homes should have in common should be comfort, safety, joy, laughter, and caring people everywhere you go. Home is safe, should be safe. It shouldn't be a space you fear or feel disdain for.
