The Best Home

When I see my family my heart melts. They come to my house and they make me feel like I am home forever. There is Raynna. She is my cousin and she is always there for me. For ever I have loved my family. There is grandma Sherry. She had such a positive attitude. When my dad gave a speech at great Baba’s funeral, he said,“She would always ask if we were hungry and make us anything any time.” She was so awesome. Great Grandpa was so much fun. He would take us sledding in the winter at the farm. We had this dog Dax. He was awesome. Me and Dax would love to cuddle with an awesome monkey blanket. She was too soft. When I feel sad I go to my very cozy room and cry. I love my family and home.They love me too. My mom’s side has an awesome recipe, it takes me home. It tastes very cheesy .Smells like cooked shells. Sizzling ssssssssssssszzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. It brings me so much happiness. When me and my mom were in Nova Scotia we would feel the sand in our toes, the wind in our hair. When I play hockey I feel like I go to a different place like home. Me and my dad get Starbucks before games, maybe that's part of it.After hockey I go home it feels like the safest place ever forever We have many problems I know but, I know we can help everyone. Habit for humanity helps us do that. Thank you so much. I love doing these. I love helping people. I think of what I have and what other people don’t have, so I want to help them too.I know how hard it is to hide problems behind a smile. I do it every day because life is messy ,but when you are with the right people it feels so simple too. That is why I love the place I call home. I love home.
