Home is safe

Home is where my family is and all of my best friends are. Home is where my sister and I play and have fun together. Home smells like a burning fire in the wintertime and while parents are cooking. Home is like a library and a toy store. Wherever I look there are Barbies, toys, plants, and some of my favorite books. Home is a snow globe on the outside and a sauna on the inside because in the winter it's snowing, and when I get in my house, there is always a fire on. My house might be chaotic and messy sometimes, but there's nowhere else I’d rather be! Well, maybe except for my grandparents' house in Chester and my grandmother's house in Newfoundland. Because in Chester in the summer we go paddleboarding, and the water is a little bit warmer, and I can invite my friends, and I have a bigger room there. In Newfoundland I have a very good friend there, and I, my sister, and my dad go to this lake that has a current, and it's way warmer than the ocean! And my grandmother knows someone with a horse, so we get a ride on it each time we are there. In all of these places it is home, and it’s safe.
