The special place called HOME

When someone mentions the word home, I do not just think of a structure made of bricks and beams, I think of somewhere people love and care for me. And placed can be anywhere, it can be at the park your school or even the soccer field. But my special place that I adore and I call home is my house. Now your special place might be the same as mine, just a simple old house, but every house has its quirks that make it special. For example, my house has a trampoline, it may not be the most unique one-of-a-kind thing, but my brother and I spent many hours during the summer. And to me that is something special and unique that may only happen once in a lifetime. I remember one day I was trying to master a front flip with my brother; my mom came out of my house and told us that she could feel our laughter rumbling the ground. And that is a memory that I will cherish forever. In my home I feel every emotion you could ever imagine, my home is where I shelter them. From screaming so loud that the tenant's downstairs must tell my family to be a little bit quiet, to trying to sleep on a rainy night, but then rain just will not let me. I hear the rain tapping tapping on my window just like exactly like the monsters stomping in my dreams. I also feel like belong. In my home I can be who I am without someone criticizing me and telling me who to be. When I walk through my house I can hear and feel all my best memories from the past. And this is my special place I call HOME! Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for this wonderful writing opportunity and experience.
