Home is a feeling

Home is a feeling of warmth and happiness. The feeling of home doesn’t have to be from your house, it can be school or a park, if a place makes you feel good inside, that’s the feeling of home. When I go to a forest, I listen for the caws of birds and the squirrels running on the soft, dense forest bed. When I go to school, I look at my friends laughing, the teacher joining the class, and the happy vibes we give to the sad, the scared and to those who can’t feel. When I go home, I play with my dogs, game with my brother, laugh with my mom and hug my dad. The love I get, I give out to the world. When the rain dances on the earth and when the snow tells a tale, when the sun shines and when the moon tells the story of life, if that has a warm feeling, that’s home. When friends, family or strangers laugh, if that makes you happy, then that’s home. Home isn’t a cold building, it’s a feeling, that’s what home means.
