Home Sweet Home

My home is a place that I can go to at the end of the day where I can feel safe in. Home is where alI I can hear is laughter and the sound of hugs and kisses. Home is where I feel warm, happy and comfortable. When I’m at home I can be myself and where my home is where my heart and family are. The home I grew up in means way more than the house itself! The home I grew up in has so many fond memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. My kitchen is full of laughter and pancake batter on our noses and vanilla yogurt on the kitchen table. It's full of warm and cozy nights making hot cocoa with extra whipping cream on top. It's a place I can come home to smell my dads banana bread with chocolate chips! The bathroom is where I’d make beards and clothes out of bubbles in the bathtub. Its where i’d pretend the sink is a mini pool for my LOL and Barbie dolls for hours before even thinking about anything else. My room is where I’d practice my art skills and sorta get the bed sheets dirty with paint stains. Its where I’d get the best cuddles before bed. Its where I’d practise my singing with no interruptions. Its the place that’s held many diva fashion shows with my dad looking the funniest! My garage has to many chalk drawing to even count. It's the place that I now call my “Volleyball Hut’’ it's where I can hit the volleyball on the wall to impress my coach for the upcoming games. Last but not least my hallway is where I took my first steps and where I would take thousand of videos of me *trying to do some Tik Tok dances but failing miserably. I understand that a lot of people don't get to have the freedom or safety that i get to have and I understand that they also don’t get to have clothes or a roof over their heads but I know that Habitat for Humanity is helping people like single parents or families that need better accommodations in a home to have the hope and happiness that they should have. So I am very grateful for Habitat for Humanity for helping people get back on their feet. This is my Home Sweet Home
