Meaning of Home

Home and a house these words seem very similar but a home and a house are very different. A house is a place that you may visit May live at or maybe even just sleep over at. A house is just a place, a building or even a camping van. But a home is way much more! A home is a place where you sleep, eat , dance, sing or maybe even just sit around and chill. A home is where you feel safe where you feel belong. Rather it's with family, a partner or even a pet or maybe just you. It's where you have your me time, it's where you sing in the shower or dance in the hallway. It's where you cry, it's where you sing whether you're in joy or even in tears. For example at a friend's house you're nervous and scared to make mistakes. But in your home you snuggle on the couch, watch a movie and eat some pizza. You're not scared, you can be silly and funny, you can be yourself. When you step in your home memories flood in. A house is made of bricks and walls and even some sticks. But a home is filled with memories and happiness. Home is where you stand at the window and wait for grandma. Just remember to be grateful for your home and food because some people do not have a home or food . A house is just a place to chill but a home is a safe space. My home is my space where my mom, dad, sister and brother live. My home is everything to me; it keeps me from the snow, rain and sunshine.
