Home is my Happy Place

When I go in my home I feel safe and protected. My home is also my happy place. I love it when I can see my dog sitting at the door and wagging his tail to see me and my sister. I love coming home and smelling fresh baked cookies on a summer day. I love that I have a home. I use it for many things like, my book reports, reading and watching movies with my family. I have so many memories in my house that I don't want to forget. When I have a bad day at school I go straight to my house and I feel happier, loved and no longer upset. I love when I come back in from outside in the winter and drink hot chocolate with a lot of whipped cream and cookies.I love that my family and I cuddle with my dog with the warmest blanket in my house. I love waking up to the smell of bacon, eggs or cinnamon rolls. I love my room. It is the main part of my house to me. I love that I can go and read, draw, sleep in a cozy and warm bed. My room is my happy place, it's where I feel comfortable, cozy, and warm. But my living room is also a main part of my house, because that's where I watch movies and cuddle with my dog. I also made memories in my living room. I love that I have a nice place to sit and eat dinner with my family. I like that I have a place to bake cookies and muffins. I love that Habitat for Humanity builds homes for people who need them after a tsunami.
