Home is a feeling
Home isn’t a place, it is a feeling. Before I really understood how much a home meant to me, I just took it for granted. I used to just think that my home was just a place that gives me shelter. But now I actually understood what it meant to many people around the world and me too. Now, after I took it into a new perspective it finally all fit in. Home is a place where you make lifetime memories, and bond with your family. In my home I get loved, cared for. As soon as I enter my house everything that happened to me at school or even just playing outside, just vanishes right after I see my family. The living room is filled with fresh air from the beautiful plants on our plant stand, and also the amazing aromatic smell of my mom’s freshly cooked food. It is pretty much like an area filled with laughter, don’t forget some sibling fights (in my opinion a home is never good without sibling fights now and then!). In my room I think about my day, how I could change, and it helps me relax. On movie nights we pull out the extension to our couch and wrap ourselves in a blanket (sometimes with hot chocolate and don’t forget the marshmallows!), and it gives a feeling that you and your family are protected under the mighty roof and walls, plus the windows of our home. All the framed pictures hung up on the hallway is a once in a lifetime memory that could never be forgotten. Home is where I belong, with my family. This is what I think of my home.
