A Place of Joy

Home is not only the place where you live but also a place to feel happy and joyful. Home, to me, means family. Where you can do anything you want to do with them. Home is a place to laugh and play, where you can always feel safe and warm. Sometimes things can be tough, whether you lose something or have a tough day at school, but when you come back you feel bursts of joy flow through you! In the living room, we watch movies, cheer on our sports teams and play board games! In the kitchen, I can smell the delicious food being made for us. We laugh and tell stories as we eat! It's a whole family bonding time! Home is like a castle that protects me from almost everything that comes my way! Not everybody is lucky enough to buy a home and that's where the AMAZING Habitat for Humanity comes in, helping everyone in need of a roof over their head. I want everyone to have a chance to have a home to call their own, so that's why I entered this contest to raise money for less fortunate people .
