What home truly is...

Home is like a heart beat. It's not a building, it's life memories and it feels like the house is what makes it good but it is the family, all the people that care and back you up. Before home was just a thing to me but I realized it’s the place of life. Home I just can’t forget it's something now a part of me. Home is a part of many people the ones that don't have homes that why I want to help like this. Home sometimes changes when moving or a fire happens. It's challenging but home is where I can talk to family and smell my moms best recipe. My dad plays with me in my super long backyard. My brothers race my baby brother and my teenager brother. Even when you are bullied remember that home protects you like I said its not a building its more of a shield. You can help by donating to others. Home is like a place that is a forever lasting fire. Understanding what home means is one of the things you should always remember. But home to me is everything. It’s like the most special gift. Habitat for Humanity writing contest is something everyone should apply for, so kids all across Canada can help others have homes just like me.
