My Home

A home is not just wood and nails; it’s built with love and care. Home is a place where I feel safe and a place where I can go when I feel blue. Every day I look forward to coming home and seeing food on the table. Home is hearing my dog’s paws on the floor early in the morning, a house is a house a home is love. My home is like a hefty squeeze from my parents. My home makes me feel warm and calm like the waves on a summer evening. I think of my home as a roof over my head and filled with family. Home is one of a kind, each one unique to the people inside. My kitchen smells delicious everyday especially when my dad makes the best homemade pizza. It’s not a home without love. A home is not just wood and nails, it’s my everything.
