Home Isn't a House

Home isn’t a house. A house is were you live but it doesn't feel right. A house is were you have all the stuff you need but there’s something off. There’s no comfort no warm hugs from your family. None of the delicious smell of cookies that your mom made. No laughter of your family in the living room. Its just empty, your house is silent no talking no laughing no banging of the pans when they fall, but your home. Your home is were your safe, were you can feel happy. Were you can feel the happiness inside the warm hug your parents give. Were you can hear the laughter spread around your home. Were you can hear your dog barking non stop, and when you can hear the soft purrs of your cat. When you come home and your mom make your favorite meal, when she makes spaghetti when she knows its your favorite. Were you can feel the warmth inside your moms and dads hugs, and when you can feel the love inside them. A house is like a treasure chest. You have everything you need but do you have everything? You don't have the love that your family gives you. The care, the warmth. If you see a treasure chest don't always trust it. Its not always what you need.
