Home is Sacred

To me, home feels like being wrapped in a cozy warm blanket you never want to leave. You can laugh, play and be yourself at home. If you ever feel bad, someone will be there to make you feel better. You can be there for the people you love the most. My home welcomes me to be free to be whoever I feel like! It's been there my whole life watching me grow, seeing my friends come over. When I say I love my home, it feels like it's saying it loves me back. I feel safe whenever my mom puts me to bed. All I think about is how great my home feels. No matter where I am, it's still my home, my shelter, my peaceful place. Home is me playing Subway Surfers on my phone or asking my Mom to come out of the shower after a ridiculous amount of time in there;) The people I am around at home will always be there for me no matter what and I am just overall grateful for what I have, like the smell of shepard's pie filling the room and sharing my food with everyone. I spend a lot of time at Christmas at my GG's home. I love the way her food tastes and I am always happy to be there every year. For Halloween I go with my parents and my sister even though she's little we still go out to visit homes. Sometimes we can have disagreements but we all know we will always love each other. That's how I feel about home. Love your home like it loves you.
