Meaning of home

Home isn’t just a building, it's a place I feel loved and safe. Home means safe, calm, loving, belonging, joyful, happy and peaceful to me. I’ll always remember the day I got my cats and my dog I was so happy they always make me happy, safe, calm and belonging. Or Christmas when I spend time with my family. Home also means family. The people I live with make me feel special and make my home bright and happy. My family always makes me laugh even if I'm sad or helps me if I'm going through a tough day. Just knowing my home is a place where I can be loved and feel safe makes me happy. Home helped me learn and made me become the person I am today. I learned to be kind, helpful, share, read and be nice. It helped me learn to walk, write, talk, speak and cook. I think everyone should have a loving and safe home to come back to everyday. A home can help you learn everyday skills that's why home isn't just a building its where I feel love and safe.
