Home’s Meaning To Me

My home isn't just the place I sleep at night or where my furniture sits looking to dead to be true, but the place where my family comes, loves and makes me feel understood and at ease . Yes, my home is a place, but it’s not the place that matters most to me, though there’s a lot I love, but the most special thing is the people, especially the understanding ones. Home’s a place of meaning, love, warmth and safety and I couldn't understand coming home to a place of people that don’t understand me or even like me. My home is somewhere where I can show and properly feel my emotions. I really hope that everyone could eventually feel what home feels to me! Like I stated before, home is really the people that make my home special. I hope that your people make yours special. When I think of the words home and family I think of my brothers and my mom and dad, and my grammy. I think how annoying and aggravating they are but how home couldn’t be the same without Everett's blasting music or DJ the book worm. My family wouldn’t be the same without those little annoying machines! Home holds lots of learning memories too, so I’m going to go down memory lane here. The first memory I have is when my mom and nana and papa taught me how to make cookies. Mom had a meeting so she got all the materials and left. I called Nana and papa and they walked me through step by step. They were a little flat but I made them all by myself! I really loved sharing what home actually means to me, I hope everybody could eventually feel this.
