Home Is Filled With Love

A house simplifies as a building, but to me, a home is so much more than that! A home is a building filled with love and the people that I love! Home is the place where I belong, and where I can really be myself. It’s filled with memories, and I am sure that everyday will be another adventure when I am with the people that I love! Whenever I get home, I see warm, loving smiles coming from my favorite people. When I see smiles coming from my family, I feel happy, and loved. Then, my family's arms close around me, making me feel like the safest, luckiest person in the world! After a long, loud day at school, I come back to my calm, quiet home. When my house is quiet, it makes me feel calm, and relaxed. As soon as I walk through my door, so many different smells hit me at once! I smell my soap, detergent, and mainly hot, tasty, flavourful food coming from the kitchen. Those smells make me feel really hungry! When I'm cold at home, I always wrap myself up in a warm, toasty blanket. I do that because it makes me feel safe. After a long day, my blanket wraps itself around me, just like a nice, warm hug! When I'm cold, I go to my bed, because it feels like a soft, warm marshmallow that keeps me warm! There is truly no place like home when you are with the people that you love!
