The Meaning of Home

What home means to me, is not just a place to watch TV or play video games. First, you can feel safe all year round. For example at cold times of the year you might have heat in your home to keep you warm. In the winter it gets dark faster and you could just turn on the light to read or just feel safe. Next, home is a place where you can express your feelings. Like if you had a bad day when you get home you can talk to a family member about it. Also, you learn a lot at home. Something I learned at my home was how to talk, walk and control my emotions. You might also learn to cook, ride a bike, or paddle a canoe. You learn lots of stuff, even more than I listed.Different people might learn different things. Finally, home is a place where you build memories and memories are important. There are different types of memories like funny memories, sad memories, happy memories, cute memories. There are so many different memories you can make. It is special and those memories will stay with you forever. In conclusion, home is a place to feel safe, learn and make memories. That is what home means to me.
