What Home Means to Me

Home is where me and my loved ones live. We are a crazy and loud family but that’s ok. My siblings make me mad or sad but in the end, they make me feel loved and happy. My two brothers are a handful, they are always full of energy but always there for me. The eldest sister, she stops some bad things from happening like arguments, along with my mom and stepdad. My dad has a big heart and he loves caring for us and making sure we are ok. My other older sister loves playing with us all the time! She loves to draw like me! When I wake up from a long nap or when I wake up from sleeping, I smell my eldest sister or my mom making some sweet treats. I can smell the crispy chocolate chip cookies my eldest sister makes. I can feel the warmth of my oven and stove. The smell of my mom's pasta fills the air. It makes me hungry, it makes me feel like home. What makes my home feel special is my family. They are the reason why my home is special to me, they are the reason why I look forward to going home.
