What Home Means to Me

I love my home because it's where all the things that are important to me are. I have my dogs, my room and my family. My home makes me feel happy, calm and safe. When I am home I can relax. It is full of furniture and plants that make my home beautiful, but it is the people and dogs that make it home. The first thing you will see when you walk into my home is my dogs. They love to curl up beside me and give me lots of kisses. When they are excited they jump up everywhere. When I'm with them I feel happy and safe because I love them so much. They also love to keep me warm by laying on me so I can't move. My dogs fill my house with love and dog hair. My home is where my room is and that is where all of my toys are, which is great. I like my room especially because I'm the only one that can go in there. My blankets and pillows are also amazing because they are so soft and fluffy. My room is also good because I have all of my clothes in there that keep me warm.That is why my room is one of the things that make home special. My home is where my family is. When I hear my family talking and laughing, it always reminds me of home. My family is special because then I always have someone to talk to. My family also likes to bake sometimes and you can always smell it from all over the house. My family makes my home great even though sometimes they annoy me. These are a few reasons why my home is so special and amazing. My dog, family and room are my favourite things that are always waiting at home. I think everyone deserves a home for a lot of reasons. My home is a safe and happy place for me and my family which I love a lot. So thank you Habitat for Humanity for building homes for deserving families.
